Reviews

We were privileged to have Clint Ward as the April speaker. The format was different from the normal AV presentation. Clint simply sat on a stool in front of a music stand and recounted excerpts from his recent book, “On All The Other Days.” Clint is not only a pilot; he has many other interests in his life; water skiing, trombone, AF Reserve, theater work, curling, car racing, playwright and director and film society. This was on top of his 50 years of flying, mostly with Air Canada. Quite a life! Clint has a wonderful manner of relating a story. Thanks for another great presentation.   Dick Pickering

There are many autobiographies and memoirs published by aviation people as this reviewer knows full well, being an avid collector for many years, but Clint Ward’s “On All The Other Days” the subject of his talk at our April meeting is, in a word, outstanding. The author gave our audience a memorable account of his aviation career with unabashed candour and self-deprecating humour.  Brian Griffiths
